Today this site is not available — in protest against Article 13 (uploadfilters) and Article 11 (link tax) of the currently much discussed copyright directive. We have the opinion that the planned directive will massively restrict freedom of expression, free access to knowledge and diversity of information on the internet — without real improvements for all creative people (artists, journalists, authors, ...) who deserve a proper copyright reform with real improvements! That's why today we want to set an example and show how the internet of tomorrow could be like, without most of the free services (e.g. the German Wikipedia). Our appeal to all MEP's: Please listen to the millions of voices who signed the petition, listen to the demonstrations, listen to the open letters! These are the people voting for you! The people who have to live and work with your decisions. Please do not ignore them!
